Put Out the Flame

Put Out the Flame is a mundane drama, a story about the micro-tragedies of the everyday. In a heightened version of reality, the work deals with deeply personal themes in unique and individual ways; revealing something both relatable and bizarre. Drawing on both eastern and western cinema, the work weaves highly researched movement material, virtuosic and fantastical elements into something profoundly human.
